Owner, SLP Therapist
Hi, I’m Angie — a Santa Monica-based speech-language therapist and a fellow mom of two kids. Over the past 15+ years, I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of amazing families and various skilled occupational therapists, physical therapists, pediatricians, developmental pediatricians, behaviorists, preschools, private and public schools. I've worked with a variety of kids over the year, and right now, 90% of my speech therapy kids are from preschool to 3rd grade. I am committed to helping your child communicate clearly so you can stop feeling worried about them falling behind. I believe every kid deserves to communicate with ease and that you deserve to understand your child.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Syracuse University, and my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Adelphi University. I have worked with children of all ages with a variety of communication and developmental needs in clinic, school, and home based settings. Through the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with families to create fun, engaging, and individualized learning experiences for each child. I am passionate about finding the right therapy strategies for each child to become effective communicators at home, school, and beyond. I am also a native Spanish speaker and grew up in a Salvadoran-American home, and I love incorporating multilingualism and cultural competence in my sessions.

I first realized that I wanted to be a Speech and Language Pathologist when I was a senior in high school. I started volunteering at UCLA Hospital in pediatrics, and one day a nonverbal four-year-old boy who I had been assigned to finally said "up!" when he was pushing buttons for the elevator. I remember coming home to share the success story with my mom, and realizing that this was what I wanted to do. I have spent my career working in public schools and private practice in the San Diego and Los Angeles area. I have had an incredible career, and I love being able to use play to provide the methods necessary to enable a child to effectively communicate.
